GameRecommenderMatch is a personal, non-commercial project operated by a private individual. It is not a company, it is not registered in any Commercial Register, and it carries out no commercial activity: there are no sales, no payments, no subscriptions, no advertising and no donations.

2. Hosting provider

Traffic to this site is additionally routed through Cloudflare, Inc. as a content delivery and security provider. See the Privacy Policy for details.

3. Purpose of the website

GameRecommenderMatch is a free tool that suggests games available on Steam that a user may enjoy, based on the public information in their own Steam profile. It requires no registration, no login and no password. The service is provided free of charge and without any form of consideration.

4. Relationship with Valve Corporation

This website is an independent, unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or associated with Valve Corporation in any way. “Steam” and the Steam logo are trademarks of Valve Corporation. Game titles, descriptions, artwork, prices and store links belong to their respective publishers and developers, and are shown through Steam’s publicly available interfaces.

5. Intellectual property

The source code, layout, design, recommendation logic, texts and graphic identity of this website are the property of the site owner, except where third-party materials are used. Reproducing, distributing or publicly communicating the site’s own content without written permission is not permitted.

Third-party content displayed by the tool — including game names, header images, review scores and prices — remains the property of its respective rights holders and is displayed for identification and informational purposes only.

6. Conditions of use

By using this website you agree to use it lawfully and in good faith. In particular, you agree not to:

• use automated systems to scrape, mine or bulk-download the site’s content or overload its infrastructure;
• attempt to circumvent the rate limits or other technical measures protecting the service;
• submit another person’s Steam profile with the intention of harassing, profiling or exposing them;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or its database.

The owner may restrict or block access where use of the service causes harm to the service or to third parties.

7. Disclaimer of liability

The recommendations produced by this site are automated estimates, generated by statistical comparison of publicly available Steam data. They are offered for informational purposes only and carry no guarantee of accuracy, suitability or satisfaction. Any purchase decision is made exclusively by the user, through Steam, under Valve’s own terms.

Prices, release dates, review scores and availability are obtained from Steam at the time of the query and may be inaccurate, outdated or regionally different from what you see in your own store. Always verify on Steam before buying.

The owner does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service and accepts no liability for interruptions, errors or losses arising from its use, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

8. Links to third-party sites

This site links to Steam store pages and other external resources. Those sites are outside the owner’s control, and the owner accepts no responsibility for their content, availability or privacy practices.

9. Personal data

10. Applicable law and jurisdiction

This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. Any dispute arising from the use of this website shall be submitted to the Courts and Tribunals of Spain, save where mandatory legislation provides otherwise.
